Our story started with the simple desire to do something a little different with glass.   The result is our Smashing Glass range of products, combining glass and the magical colours of the abalone shell.

Unique to New Zealand coastal waters, paua shell is the most colourful of all abalone shells.  Shell colours can vary from greens and pinks to purples and blues.  The colours sparkle with a brilliant iridescence, similar to that of Mother of Pearl, when viewed from different angles and in different lights.

Smashing Glass coasters are individually handcrafted, lending appeal to a fun and modern range of glassware.

Still building on the handcrafted fun and modern elements of Smashing Glass, Smashing Concepts will bring a sense of delight in each design element.
